Role Summary
The Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and curriculum-aligned science instruction to students in middle and/or secondary grades. The role demands a strong grasp of scientific concepts, effective classroom management, and the ability to inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery: Teach science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) as per CBSE guidelines for assigned grades.
Lesson Planning: Design and implement lesson plans that align with the CBSE syllabus and promote inquiry-based learning.
Assessment & Evaluation: Prepare and evaluate student assessments, maintain academic records, and provide feedback for improvement.
Lab Activities: Conduct practical sessions and ensure safety protocols in the science laboratory.
Student Engagement: Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and scientific exploration.
Parent Communication: Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.
Professional Development: Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and participate in training programs and workshops.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc./M.Sc.) with specialization in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology.
Prior teaching experience in CBSE schools preferred (1-3 years minimum).
Skills & Competencies
Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
Excellent communication and classroom management.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and blended learning.
Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
Passion for science and student development.
Working Hours
As per school schedule (typically 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Saturday, one Saturday will be holiday).
