Job Title: Science Teacher (HOD) Location: Nalanda Vidyaniketan, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh Salary Range: Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications) Position Overview: Nalanda Vidyaniketan is seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary & Secondary Grade Science Teacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing young students to the fundamentals of science, sparking their curiosity, and laying the groundwork for a lifelong interest in exploring the natural world. Key Responsibilities: Educational Instruction: Teach Science to primary grade students, making complex concepts understandable and engaging for young learners. Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and cater to a range of learning styles. Use hands-on experiments and interactive teaching methods to enhance student understanding and engagement. Student Engagement and Development: Encourage students to observe, question, experiment, and make logical connections. Foster a classroom environment that is supportive, inclusive, and conducive to learning. Identify and support the individual learning needs of each student. Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress through appropriate means such as quizzes, projects, and participatory activities. Provide constructive feedback to students and tailor teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. Collaboration and Communication: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians about their child\'s progress and areas of improvement. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience at the school. Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments in primary science education and teaching methodologies. Participate in professional development programs and workshops. Required Skills and Qualifications: A Bachelor\'s degree in Science, Education, or a related field; additional certification in primary education is preferred. Prior experience in teaching Science to primary grades, preferably in a similar educational setting. Excellent command of the subject matter and the ability to make science relatable to young students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. A passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
