Roles and Responsibilities

Teach core science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (as applicable) using engaging and inquiry-based teaching methods.
Simplify complex scientific concepts through experiments, demonstrations, models, and real-life examples.
Encourage critical thinking, observation, and analytical skills through hands-on activities and scientific investigations.
Conduct laboratory sessions safely, ensuring proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment and adherence to safety guidelines.
Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, practicals, projects, tests, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.
Integrate technology, digital tools, simulations, and audio-visual aids to enhance conceptual understanding and student engagement.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary lessons, projects, and academic initiatives.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial instruction or enrichment opportunities as required.
Maintain a safe, disciplined, inclusive, and stimulating classroom and laboratory environment.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, performance, and academic concerns.

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or related discipline) and/or Education (Master's degree preferred).
Teaching certification recognized by CBSE.
Proven experience teaching Science at the primary/middle/secondary level in a CBSE-affiliated school (preferred).
Strong understanding of the CBSE Science curriculum and assessment methodologies.
Sound knowledge of laboratory procedures, experiments, and safety standards.
Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain scientific concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
Proficiency in educational technology, virtual labs, simulations, and digital teaching tools.
