Job Description

HE/She Instructor plays a key role in delivering hands-on learning experiences to students through creative science experiments, models, and activities. The role involves conducting engaging classroom sessions, supporting school programs, and inspiring curiosity and innovation among children.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct interactive science sessions in schools, science centers, or mobile labs. Demonstrate low-cost experiments and models aligned with the curriculum. Inspire and motivate students to explore science through inquiry-based learning. Ensure classroom quality and maintain high engagement levels among students. Support special programs such as science fairs, exposure visits, and innovation camps. Maintain attendance, activity records, and session reports accurately. Take care of materials, kits, and models -- ensuring timely maintenance and readiness. Coordinate with school teachers and principals for smooth implementation of sessions. Participate in regular training, reflection meetings, and quality assessment reviews. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve program quality and reach.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication and presentation skills. Basic understanding of science concepts (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). Ability to simplify complex topics through storytelling and demonstrations. Good classroom management and child engagement skills. Flexibility to travel to different schools or program sites. Record-keeping, report writing, and basic computer literacy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Science / Education / or related field. Prior experience in teaching, training, or NGO-based education programs preferred. Passion for science education and child development.

Work Environment:

Frequent field visits to schools and communities. Hands-on activity-based teaching environment. Collaboration with peers, mentors, and program teams.
