Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science and Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation of both scientific and mathematical concepts. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum, fostering a supportive learning environment, and helping students excel in both subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in both Science and Mathematics across various year groups, ensuring alignment with the curriculum. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles. Use a range of teaching methods, including interactive learning, practical experiments (for Science), and problem-solving activities (for Mathematics). Regularly assess student progress through homework, assignments, and tests; provide timely feedback to support their growth.

Classroom Management:

Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage student behavior effectively and in accordance with school policies.

Assessment & Reporting:

Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents. Prepare and contribute to end-of-term reports, identifying areas for improvement and recognizing student achievements.

Extracurricular Engagement:

Encourage students to participate in STEM-related extracurricular activities such as science fairs, math competitions, or after-school clubs.

Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices in both Science and Mathematics education. Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure an integrated approach to teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).

Experience:

Proven experience teaching Science and Mathematics minimum

1 Year

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Science and Mathematics curriculum content and teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to diverse student needs. Passion for fostering a love of learning in students. Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools for teaching and learning.
