Role Summary:


As an Schools Coordinator, you will play a leadership role in implementing the

Akshar Education Model

in Government Schools across Assam. You will act as the primary liaison between Akshar and the school administration, working closely with the School Head and Government teachers to plan, coordinate, and deliver program activities. This role requires strong communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to train and support the team in using Akshar's innovative teaching tools. You will also lead a small team of social workers and oversee the vocational training component of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships with the School Head, government teachers, and staff. Train and support teachers in effectively using the Akshar Toolkit (worksheets, tablets, digital classes). Plan and coordinate school-based activities in alignment with the goals of the Akshar Education Model. Supervise and guide a team of 2-3 Schools Assistants. Manage and implement vocational training initiatives in the school. Ensure smooth execution of the program and continuous engagement with school stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduation/ Postgraduate Minimum 2 years of work experience with at least 1 year in a school, educational program, or NGO. Proficiency in English and Assamese (spoken, written, and reading). Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and report preparation.

Excellent Communication Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Empathy and cultural sensitivity while working in diverse school environments. High accountability and ownership of responsibilities.

Compensation:


Upto ?3,00,000 per annum, based on last drawn salary and relevant experience.
