The Akanksha Foundation is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide children from low-income communities with a high-quality education, enabling them to maximize their potential and transform their.Akanksha works primarily in the field of education, addressing formal education by initiating school reform through its School Project. Currently, Akanksha reaches out to 10000 children through its 26 schools in Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur. Position Summary: As an Akanksha School Administrator, you will be directly responsible for all the administrative/operational duties leading to smooth functioning of the school. You will ensure that the school infrastructure is appropriately maintained and all the necessary resources required in the classrooms are provided on a timely basis. You will also ensure that the school data is maintained with high standards of accuracy and the same is maintained in relevant formats shared by government officials. You will contribute towards creating an environment of high achievement for our students through proactive and prompt services. You will support the school team to build strong bonds with children to understand each child\xe2\x80\x99s needs and work with parents as partners in their child\xe2\x80\x99s education and future. What your role will entail? \xe2\x9d\x96 Student Admission \xe2\x96\xaa Logistics to be arranged for lottery process \xe2\x80\x93 boxes, venue, seating arrangement, mike etc. \xe2\x96\xaaNeed based help can be provided to Social Worker to ensure post-admission documentation is retained eg. Recommendation letters, if any, to be attached to admission form of respective students for future reference. But the ownership lies with Social Worker. \xe2\x9d\x96 Student Attendance \xe2\x96\xaa Input daily attendance (a) NetSuite (b) BMC/PMC/PCMC register (c) Saral-online (d) App entry. \xe2\x96\xaa Ensure student drop-out records are accurately and promptly maintained on NetSuite \xe2\x9d\x96 Student Records School Administrator has to maintain- \xe2\x96\xaa Student Files with photocopies of all the documents \xe2\x96\xaa Update NetSuite students\xe2\x80\x99 master record with details of returning students (grade promotion, shuffling between divisions, change in address, name etc.) and create records for new students (a)Date of Birth (b)Full Name (c)Aadhaar Card Number, etc. \xe2\x96\xaa U-DISE \xe2\x80\x93 school related information, student numbers, teacher count \xe2\x96\xaa SARAL \xe2\x80\x93 update (a)Student Portfolio (b)School Portfolio \xe2\x96\xaa Shaala Siddhi Form \xe2\x96\xaa Update student details in General Register \xe2\x80\x93 student count as on 30th Sep is considered as final. \xe2\x96\xaaDirect beneficiary transfer (DBT) where ever applicable \xe2\x80\x93 Bank account details child\xe2\x80\x99s account or joint account, (photocopy of bank passbook) is collected from students at the time of admission. The ownership of collecting document will remain with SW and data entry part with SA. \xe2\x9d\x96 Receivables from Government \xe2\x96\xaa To receive 27 items from Government office. \xe2\x96\xaa To maintain details of items received in an opening register, check and verify same with challans and handover items to Social Worker for distribution ( no of units received should be as per exact number of students). \xe2\x96\xaa Reconcile balance items with details in opening register \xe2\x9d\x96 Mid-Day Meal (MDM) \xe2\x96\xaa To maintain MDM challans/records \xe2\x96\xaa To input MDM daily stock on-line/upload on MDM App \xe2\x96\xaa To tally billing reports and submit at government office Note : Procurement and distribution of biscuits on 15th Aug., 26 th Jan from BMC/PMC/PCMC needs to be handled. \xe2\x9d\x96 Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) Funds \xe2\x96\xaa Track SSA circulars \xe2\x96\xaa Maintain records of funds received \xe2\x96\xaa Maintain SSA audit reports \xe2\x96\xaa Provide details through Shaala Vikas Arakhada Form (under SSA) (a)Student details (b)School Details \xe2\x9d\x96 Material/Assets received from Government \xe2\x96\xaa To receive educational material/assets from BMC/PMC/PCMC, distribute the same and maintain records \xe2\x9d\x96 Meetings at Government offices \xe2\x96\xaa School Administrator and Social Worker needs to attend meetings (besides School Leader or Teacher Training Meetings) at Government offices on an alternate basis. \xe2\x96\xaa Meetings pertaining to data should be attended by School Admin and meeting pertaining to children like scholarship etc should be attended by Social Worker. \xe2\x9d\x96 Government Relations \xe2\x96\xaa To build relationship with all the government officials/agencies \xe2\x9d\x96 Managing Assessments (Akanksha and External) \xe2\x96\xaa Arrange printing of Akanksha assessment papers \xe2\x96\xaa Collect question papers for all students from government office i.e. Satra Pariksha (saha mai pariksha \xe2\x80\x93 End of term 1 & 2, provide number of students, subjects and medium of language through WA to government officials) Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent Salary: 928,000.00 - 930,000.00 per month Benefits:
