Roles and responsibilities of Online School principal
\xef\x83\x98 Developing a strategic plan for the School, in consultation with the Director, including the preparation of a staffing and resource plan.
\xef\x83\x98 Engaging the staff of the School in devising and agreeing the School\'s plan.
\xef\x83\x98 Reviewing the performance of the School in terms of its objectives as stated in its strategic plan and in its staffing and resource plan.
\xef\x83\x98 Managing and monitoring of the implementation of the resource allocation process within the School.
\xef\x83\x98 Dealing with crew recruitment matters that fall within the remit of the School.
\xef\x83\x98 Membership of the Selection Committees for all appointments in the School.
\xef\x83\x98 Creating a supportive working environment for all crew in the School and fostering their career development.
\xef\x83\x98 Ensuring that staff review and development is completed in a timely manner (including PMP).
\xef\x83\x98 Handling grievance procedures for crew when it is escalated.
\xef\x83\x98 Managing relevant disciplinary procedures for both staff and students.
\xef\x83\x98 Having overall responsibility for the management of the School\'s programme of teaching and research and the implementation of the school\xe2\x80\x99s academic policy.
\xef\x83\x98 Ensuring the effective delivery of high quality teaching and the maintenance of academic standards.
\xef\x83\x98 Promoting a culture of learning that is directed to student needs, and of teaching that is informed by the research interests of the School\'s crew.
\xef\x83\x98 Provide direction and support to teaching staff to achieve school academic goals.
\xef\x83\x98 Analyze staff problems and develop action plans.
\xef\x83\x98 Address administration issues in a timely and accurate manner.
\xef\x83\x98 Evaluate academic programs and extracurricular activities and recommend improvements.
\xef\x83\x98 Assist in student enrollment and withdrawal activities.
