Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership

Lead curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation in alignment with ICSE board norms and NEP guidelines. Ensure high-quality teaching and learning practices across all grades. Monitor student progress, assessment outcomes, and academic interventions. Promote innovative pedagogy, experiential learning, and holistic education.

Staff Management & Development

Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and retain teaching and non-teaching staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional development. Conduct regular classroom observations and performance reviews. Ensure staff adherence to school policies, discipline, and professional ethics.

Student Development & Wellbeing

Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Oversee student discipline, counselling, and wellbeing initiatives. Encourage co-curricular activities, sports, and leadership programs for overall student development.

Operations & Compliance

Oversee day-to-day school operations including timetables, examinations, and academic records. Ensure compliance with ICSE regulations, statutory norms, and safety standards. Manage budgets, school resources, and infrastructure effectively. Coordinate audits, inspections, and accreditation processes.

Parent & Community Engagement

Build strong partnerships with parents through effective communication and engagement. Address parent concerns in a timely and professional manner. Represent the school in community forums, events, and professional networks.

Strategic Growth

Develop and implement short-term and long-term school improvement plans. Support marketing, admissions, and outreach initiatives in collaboration with management.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Ed. and M.Ed. mandatory.

Minimum 5 years of experience as Vice Principal or Principal, preferably in an ICSE school.

Strong understanding of ICSE norms and NEP guidelines. Proven experience in school administration and academic leadership. High ethical standards and strong professional integrity. Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills. Technologically adept with hands-on experience in school ERP systems and digital tools.
