Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic, disciplined, and motivated

Physical Education Teacher

to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and overall well-being among students. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of physical education pedagogy, experience in coaching sports activities, and the ability to instill healthy habits and teamwork in students across different age groups.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct structured Physical Education classes as per CBSE guidelines and school policy. Teach fundamental fitness skills, physical exercises, yoga, and age-appropriate sports activities. Train and coach students in indoor and outdoor games, athletics, and team sports. Organize and supervise sports events, inter-house competitions, and annual sports meets. Ensure student safety during physical activities and maintain discipline on the playground. Monitor and assess students' physical development and participation. Maintain sports equipment, inventory, and playfield discipline. Collaborate with school leadership in planning fitness programmes and co-curricular activities. Encourage student participation in physical activities and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Qualifications and SkillsEducation

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent qualification (mandatory). M.P.Ed will be an added advantage.
Experience

Minimum

2-4 years

of experience as a Physical Education Teacher or Sports Coach in a school environment.
Skills

Strong knowledge of sports rules, fitness training, and physical education methodologies. Ability to coach multiple sports and conduct fitness assessments. Excellent discipline management and student engagement skills. Awareness of safety standards, first aid, and injury prevention. Basic proficiency with digital tools for planning and reporting.
Accommodation & Facilities

Free meals provided on campus for relocated staff. Accommodation to be arranged independently outside the campus; an accommodation allowance is included in the salary. School support available for identifying nearby housing; shared accommodation is permitted. Transportation provided from a common pickup point to the campus during school hours.
