Qualifications:

ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife) or GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) certified. Registered Nurse with valid state/national registration. Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in pediatrics or school settings. CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and child-friendly approach. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Strong record-keeping and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff during school hours. Maintain student health records and immunization charts as per school protocols. Monitor chronic health conditions of students (e.g., asthma, diabetes). Dispense prescribed medications following authorization from parents and physicians. Conduct regular health screenings (vision, hearing, height, weight). Assist in developing and implementing health care plans for students with special needs. Promote a healthy and safe environment within the school. Educate students and staff on hygiene, nutrition, and wellness practices. Liaise with parents, healthcare providers, and school authorities as needed. Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure clinic cleanliness.
