The School Librarian is responsible for managing the school library to support the educational, informational, and recreational needs of students and staff. This role includes organizing library resources, promoting literacy, collaborating with teachers, and helping students develop research and information literacy skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Curate, organize, and maintain the school's library collection (books, digital resources, periodicals).
Assist students and staff in locating and using library resources.
Teach students how to access, evaluate, and use information effectively (information literacy).
Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum needs and design learning experiences.
Promote a culture of reading and lifelong learning through library programs and events.
Manage circulation, shelving, cataloging, and inventory of library materials.
Implement and enforce library policies and procedures.
Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and safe library environment.
Stay current with educational trends, technology tools, and new literature for children/teens.
Support students' digital literacy and responsible technology use.

Pay: ?8,135.58 - ?15,000.00 per month
