Amethyst International School is seeking a dedicated Primary Coordinator to lead and
oversee the academic and administrative functioning of the Primary Section. The role
involves curriculum planning, teacher mentoring, parent communication, and ensuring
compliance with CBSE norms.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong academic
expertise, proven leadership, and the ability to foster a culture of professionalism, dignity,
and accountability.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education (B.Ed/M.Ed preferred).
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools (Primary level).
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
Ability to draft policies, manage staff, and ensure accountability.
Ability to guide and provide training to teachers.
Ability to handle parent and student concerns and build a strong rapport between the school and parent community.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate teaching-learning processes in the Primary Section.
Draft and implement lesson plans, timetables, and assessment schedules.
Mentor and support primary teachers in pedagogy and classroom management.
Ensure compliance with CBSE and school policies.
Organize co-curricular activities and events for holistic student development.
Maintain transparent communication with parents and stakeholders.
Monitor student progress and implement remedial measures.
Location: Ottiyambakkam, Chennai
