Job Title: School HR



Location: St. Augustine's Day School for Boys (CBSE Curriculum)

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Saturday

Job Summary

:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive School HR with 1-3 years of experience in HR management, particularly within educational institutions. The ideal candidate will hold an MBA in Human Resource Management, along with a background in Law (Preferred). This role is essential in managing the HR functions of the school, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations, all while fostering a positive school culture.

Key Responsibilities

:

Recruitment & Onboarding

: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for teaching and non-teaching staff. Oversee onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the school environment.

Employee Relations

: Serve as the primary contact for employee queries, conflicts, and grievances. Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment through regular communication with staff members.

Compliance & Policy Management

: Ensure compliance with school rules, regulations and policies. Assist in developing, updating, and implementing school policies and procedures.

Performance Management

: Support performance appraisal processes and ensure timely feedback sessions. Work with school leadership to identify areas for staff development and training.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

: Coordinate monthly payroll processes and manage benefits such as PF, ESI, health insurance, leave, late and annual leave encashment in coordination with the School Accountant.

Documentation & Reporting

: Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Prepare periodic reports on HR metrics and activities for management review.

Qualifications & Skills

:

- MBA in Human Resource Management.

- Law background is highly desirable, with knowledge of labor laws and compliance (Preferred).

- 1-3 years of experience in HR, preferably within the education sector.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and confidentiality.

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
