Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic School Counsellor Trainee who will support the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our students. The trainee will work under the guidance of senior counsellors and the school leadership team to create a supportive environment that helps students thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in providing counselling support to students on academic, personal, emotional, and social concerns. Support students in developing coping strategies, stress management, and positive behavioral skills. Collaborate with teachers and parents to understand and address student needs. Maintain confidentiality while documenting student interactions and progress. Organize awareness sessions, workshops, and activities related to mental health and well-being. Provide first-line support for students in distress and escalate cases when necessary. Participate in professional learning opportunities and training sessions as part of the school's counselling framework.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, patience, and a student-centered approach. Ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and care. Enthusiastic learner with a willingness to adapt and grow in a school environment.

Experience:

Freshers with a postgraduate degree in Psychology are welcome. Prior internship or exposure to school counselling will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
