We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Counsellor to support the academic, emotional, and social development of students. The Counsellor will work closely with students individually and in groups to address challenges, provide guidance, and help them develop coping skills, confidence, and healthy interpersonal relationships.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide individual and group counselling to students on academic, personal, social, and emotional concerns.
Support students in identifying their interests, strengths, and career goals through structured guidance and assessments.
Design and deliver age-appropriate workshops and sessions on topics such as stress management, study habits, peer pressure, bullying, and mental well-being
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' development and address behavioural or academic concerns
Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions, interventions, and student progress.
Refer students to external professionals or services when needed, ensuring timely and appropriate follow-up
Support crisis intervention efforts and provide immediate counselling in case of emergencies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in an educational setting preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathetic, patient, and student-focused approach.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
Experience in conducting career counselling or psychometric assessments.
