Required Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualifications:

Master's degree in Clinical Psychology/Psychology

Experience:

1-3 years of relevant experience in a school setting preferred.

Freshers with relevant internships and strong training may also be considered.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Empathetic and non-judgmental approach.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and build trust.

Comfortable with documentation and reporting.

Work Schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Saturday (alternate Saturdays off).

Role Objective:

To support the emotional, social, academic, and career development of students by providing individual and group counselling services, and by promoting a positive school environment in alignment with CBSE guidelines for student mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Counselling & Support

? Provide individual and group counselling for students dealing with academic stress, behavioral issues, family problems, peer pressure, and emotional concerns.

? Identify students at risk and intervene early.

? Guide students in setting personal goals and improving self-esteem and coping strategies.

2. Career & Academic Guidance

? Conduct aptitude and interest assessments (where applicable).

? Offer career counselling sessions and guide students on subject choices, especially in secondary classes.

? Collaborate with teachers and parents to support academic progress and learning difficulties.

3. Awareness & Skill Development

? Organize workshops and seminars on mental health, stress management, peer relationships, time management, and life skills.

? Conduct sensitization sessions on bullying, substance abuse, gender sensitivity, and inclusive education.

4. Liaison & Collaboration

? Work closely with class teachers, special educators, and school leadership to create individualized intervention plans.

? Maintain regular communication with parents on student development.

? Refer students to external professionals when specialized care is needed.

5. Record-Keeping & Compliance

? Maintain confidential and detailed records of counselling sessions.

? Generate reports as per school and CBSE requirements.

? Ensure all counselling practices comply with CBSE norms and ethical guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
