Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Leadership & Curriculum Development:
Design, develop, and review a robust, age-appropriate, and engaging curriculum for Playway to Grade 5.
Ensure the curriculum aligns with the school's philosophy and modern pedagogical standards.
Create and implement effective lesson plan frameworks and teaching aids for teachers.
Monitor the academic progress of students and initiate corrective measures when needed.
2. Class & Teacher Management:
Oversee the creation of class schedules, teacher timetables, and duty rosters.
Provide ongoing guidance, support, and mentorship to the teaching staff.
Conduct regular classroom observations to ensure teaching quality and constructive feedback.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment among the faculty.
3. Events, Activities & Program Management:
Plan, coordinate, and execute all school events, including annual days, sports days, celebrations, workshops, and field trips.
Oversee co-curricular and extracurricular activities to ensure a balanced development for all students.
4. Staff Training & Development:
Identify training needs for teaching and non-teaching staff.
Organize and conduct regular professional development workshops, seminars, and in-house training sessions.
Stay updated with the latest educational trends and incorporate best practices into the school system.
5. New Admissions & Inquiry Handling:
Lead the entire admissions process for new students, from initial inquiry to enrollment.
Conduct informative and welcoming school tours for prospective parents.
Manage and respond promptly to all admission inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Ensure a smooth orientation process for new students and their families.
Serve as the primary point of contact for parents for academic and behavioral concerns.
Conduct effective parent-teacher meetings and one-on-one counselling sessions.
Address and resolve parent grievances with empathy, patience, and efficiency.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents through circulars, newsletters, and digital platforms.
7. Administrative & Operational Oversight:
Maintain student and staff records as per school policy.
Ensure discipline and safety standards are upheld across the campus.
Collaborate with the administration on resource management, inventory, and other operational tasks.
