Job Description

Admission Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the end-to-end admission process of the school. The role involves handling parent inquiries, guiding families through the admission procedure, ensuring compliance with school policies, maintaining admission records, and supporting the school in meeting its enrollment targets.

Key Responsibilities:



Serve as the first point of contact for all admission-related inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, online). Provide accurate information to prospective parents regarding curriculum, facilities, admission criteria, fee structure, and school policies. Conduct school tours, orientation sessions, and admission counselling for prospective parents and students. Manage the complete admission process: application forms, entrance tests/interviews, document verification, fee collection, and issuance of admission letters. Maintain and update the admission database and ensure timely reporting of admission status to management. Coordinate with academic heads and teachers for entrance assessments or student interactions. Support the marketing and outreach activities (admission campaigns, education fairs, open houses, social media promotions, etc.) to attract prospective students. Ensure compliance with statutory norms, school policies, and regulatory requirements related to admissions. Prepare periodic admission reports, enrolment statistics, and projections for management review. Assist in building positive relationships with parents to enhance the school's reputation and ensure smooth onboarding of new families. Handle sensitive parent concerns with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Education / Marketing or a related field (Master's preferred). 3-5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or customer-facing roles (preferably in a school or educational institution). Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality. Ability to counsel parents and students with patience and clarity. Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and admission management software/ERP. Ability to work under pressure and meet admission targets within deadlines. Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
