Job Title: School Administrator

Location: Surat, Guj

Responsibilities:

Administrative Oversight:

  • Provide overall administrative leadership and support to ensure efficient operations of the school.
  • Implement and enforce school policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Manage school resources, including budgeting, procurement, and inventory management.
Staff Management and Development:
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard qualified administrative and support staff.
  • Provide ongoing supervision and performance evaluation of administrative staff.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
School Operations:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the school, including scheduling, facilities management, and security.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the school premises.
  • Manage transportation services, cafeteria operations, and other ancillary services.
Student Services:
  • Collaborate with academic and counseling staff to support student enrollment, registration, and scheduling processes.
  • Oversee student discipline, behavior management, and student attendance tracking.
  • Coordinate special programs and events, such as graduation ceremonies and student orientation.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain effective communication channels with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Handle inquiries and concerns from parents, students, and the community.
  • Collaborate with the school leadership team to develop and implement communication strategies.
Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to regulatory bodies and school management.
  • Maintain accurate records and files related to student data, staff records, and school documents.
Safety and Emergency Preparedness:
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and emergency response plans.
  • Conduct regular drills and training sessions for staff and students.
  • Monitor and address safety concerns within the school premises.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Education Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in school administration or a similar leadership role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of education policies, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and school management software.
