We are seeking a committed and empathetic
Scholarship & Career Counsellor
to coordinate the Goa Super 100 scholarship programme and provide career guidance to its recipients. This role blends
programme administration
with
student support
, ensuring every scholar is guided, encouraged, and prepared for academic and career success.
Key Responsibilities
Scholarship Coordination
Assist in planning and executing the Goa Super 100 scholarship cycle--from outreach to application processing, shortlisting, and awarding scholarships.
Liaise with schools, colleges, government bodies, and partner universities.
Maintain accurate records of scholarship recipients and track their academic progress.
Support in organising award ceremonies, orientation sessions, and review meetings.
Career Guidance & Student Support
Provide counselling on options and admission processes.
Organise workshops, seminars, and mentorship sessions for skill development and career readiness.
Assist students in identifying internship and job opportunities.
Offer ongoing emotional and academic support to help students succeed.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree required; degree/diploma in Education, Social Work, Psychology, or Career Counselling preferred.
2-5 years' experience in education, counselling, or youth programmes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Organised, proactive, and empathetic.
Passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
