Job Description

: * Prepare for loading Schedule based on Forecast, Real order rendition and OP Plan to Plan

• Consider parameters such as Manufacturing capacity, supplier capacity, vessel timelines, Aging and Market priorities (if any) while loading the Schedule
• Scheduling is completed in weekly slices post which, the constraints need be analyzed and communicated to the relevant teams (in line with point#5)
• Ensure levelling actions are completed on time and weekly slices are converted to a day wise plan
• Liaise with Sales team for market allocation, capacity constraints team / SCM for material availability, Vehicle logistic team for Export vessel shipment plan and manufacturing team for plant constraints to achieve and maintain a buildable order layout.
• VIN generation will follow the normal sequential flow and consecutive build dates are locked
• Sequencing is completed using Optessa and the output is verified with the Plant team
• Sequence file is then sent to NGAVS

Apart from these actions, Scheduler is also responsible for working with OFM and Central Allocation team to understand production cuts/ increases and work towards keeping the Schedule intact

Qualifications:
Education Qualification : B.E / B.Tech.
Number of Years of Experience : 4 to 10 years
Professional Exposure : Exposure in Production scheduling / Forecasting / Facility Capacity Planning section in Manufacturing / Engineering Industry.
Any other requirement:

• Strong written and verbal English capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with Sales, SCM/ Constraints team, Vehicle logistics and Manufacturing.
• Good analytical capabilities and capable to handle a Team.
• Proficient in PC-based software (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, etc.).
