Job Description

:

• Responsible for reviewing the project schedules to ensure that construction projects are completed on time.
• Ensure detailed project timelines are prepared periodically by coordinating with internal stakeholders and identifying potential delays or risks.
• Continuous monitoring of project progress, suggesting corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently in all phases of project life cycle.
• Schedule Development & Management:

• Ensure that the schedule reflects project goals and deadlines by working closely with the project team.
• Assist project site scheduler for preparation of baseline program in compliance with contract scope.
• Ensure regular updating of baseline program and progress reporting
• Monitoring & Progress Tracking:

• Identify variances in actual project progress against the baseline schedule.
• Identify delays, bottlenecks, generating variance report,
• Verify critical path activities and explore multiple float paths.
• Risk & Mitigation Planning:

• Analyze potential risks to the project timeline and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Work proactively to address scheduling conflicts and challenges.
• Reporting & Communication:

• Provide regular schedule updates and progress reports to the project manager and senior management.
• Communicate any issues, delays, or changes to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee site scheduler for preparation of extension of time (EOT) report.
• Resource Alignment:

• Coordinate with different departments to ensure that required resources are available and aligned with the schedule.
• Schedule Optimization & Improvement:

• Analyze and recommend improvements to the scheduling process and tools used, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the scheduling approach.
