The Practice- A Brief Sketch:

The Technology Strategy Practice is a part of Accenture Strategy and focuses on the clients' most strategic priorities. We help clients achieve growth and efficiency through innovative R&D transformation, aimed at redefining business models using agile methodologies.

Technology driven re-invention

: Help clients use technology to expand into new markets, develop new business capabilities, creating new products and services

Reinventing the IT function

: Help clients to define a strategic perspective and transformation journey towards a future ready competitive IT function. This includes redefining tech operating model, workforce reinvention, GCC strategy

Tech M&A

: Lead and support across the full M&A life cycle (Carve Outs / Separation / Mergers/ Integrations) with a focus on the technology sector, including IT infrastructure, software, cybersecurity, cloud computing, SaaS, AI, and emerging tech trends

Leverage your deep experience across technology strategy areas

such as Digital & Technology Strategy, Operating Model Design, Agile Operating Model Design, Workforce Transformation, Sourcing Strategy, IT Shared Services Strategy, Process Transformation, Value case/ business case formulation, Enterprise Architecture and Application Portfolio Strategy

Leverage your deep experience across

Tech M&A Advisory, Tech due diligence, IT Separation / Integration Planning / Execution

Understand and deploy the key value drivers of a business

, how they impact the scope and approach of the engagement Be part of a team that builds design decisions for

GCC (Global Capability Centers)

setups across geographies

(leveraging Accenture Strategy frameworks around BOT/ABO), while building detailed

models around sourcing strategy, location strategy, capability maturity assessment, Operating model design principles

related to

new entity Setups and integrated Governance models

Excel as a long-term trusted advisor

MBA from a tier 1 institute Your prior experience- 7 - 10 years of Strategy Consulting experience at a consulting firm Experience in at least 2 of the example offerings: Tech Strategy, Tech Operating Models, Product oriented operating model, IT Shared Services Strategy, GCC, M&A advisory (tech), Separation / Integration planning & execution, IT Due Diligence 3+ years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation 2+ years of experience leading or managing large teams effectively including planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing technology strategy recommendations Good knowledge of technology and enterprise architecture concepts through practical experience and knowledge of technology trends e.g. Mobility, Cloud, Digital, Collaboration A strong understanding in any of the following industries is preferred: Financial Services, Retail, Consumer Goods, Telecommunications, Life Sciences, Transportation, Hospitality, Automotive/Industrial, Mining and Resources or equivalent domains * Exposure to industry frameworks e.g. TOGAF, DODAF desirable but not essential
