Fresher & Senior SCADA Electrical & Communication Engineer

to join our team.

The Role

We are seeking Electrical & Communication Engineers with a strong background in

(SCADA & Automation)

systems. In this role, you will be a key technical expert, responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our SCADA systems. You will work on critical infrastructure projects, ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and security of our operational technology.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of SCADA systems for new projects, including system architecture, hardware selection, and network design. Configure, program, and commission Remote Terminal Units (

RTUs

) and Programmable Logic Controllers (

PLCs

). Integrate various communication protocols such as

DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850

, and others. Manage the network infrastructure for SCADA systems, including fiber optics, radio communication, and Ethernet networks. Develop and maintain Human-Machine Interface (

HMI

) screens and real-time dashboards for operational monitoring and control. Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting for complex SCADA system issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and project management, to deliver integrated solutions. Ensure all SCADA and communication systems comply with relevant industry standards and cybersecurity best practices. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams, design specifications, and test plans.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communication Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of

5 years of hands-on experience

in the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA systems. Proven expertise with SCADA software platforms Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (

DNP3, Modbus RTU/TCP, IEC 61850

). Experience with PLC programming and configuration (

e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider Electric

). Solid understanding of industrial networking principles and technologies . Experience with

RTU

and/or

substation automation

is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Experience in the power distribution and Substations sector.
