Job description: AI Copilot Developer
Job summary:
We are seeking a talented and innovative AI Copilot Developer to design, build, and maintain AI-powered solutions using Microsoft's Copilot ecosystem such as Power BI. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, expertise in generative AI concepts, and a proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solution
Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy custom Copilot solutions within Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Power BI, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Power Point) and other business platforms.
• Utilize Microsoft Copilot Studio to create conversational AI experiences and intelligent agents that streamline workflows and automate tasks.
• Integrate Copilot capabilities with other business systems using REST APIs, custom connectors, and Microsoft Graph API.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify high-impact use cases, and translate needs into technical specifications.
• Build and maintain automation workflows using Power Automate to extend and enhance Copilot functionality.
• Conduct internal testing, validation, and monitoring of deployed AI agents to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise-grade security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning (ML), and the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and documentation to end-users for the successful adoption of new Copilot features.

Who are we looking for?

• Years of Experience:

• Candidates should typically have at least 2-3 years of proven experience in software development, with a specific focus on Microsoft AI, Power BI, the Power Platform, and Copilot Studio.
• Education:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Add eligibility:

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are essential for this role. Candidates should be able to assess clients' business processes, technologies, and data infrastructure to find opportunities for AI integration and develop tailored AI strategy frameworks aligned with clients' goals.
• Displayed expertise in artificial intelligence technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and deep learning. Candidates should have a solid understanding of AI concepts, algorithms, and their applications in solving real-world business problems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are crucial for effectively articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Candidates should be able to convey AI strategy recommendations in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
• Knowledge of cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP) related to scaled AI and data analytics solutions.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential for this role. Candidates should be comfortable working with diverse teams to design and execute AI solutions that address clients' business challenges and deliver measurable results.
• Candidates should have a strong understanding of Gen AI preferences, behaviors, and values.
• Candidate should have understanding & working knowledge of various large language models to propose and implement best suited LLMs to our customer based on AI strategies that resonate with Gen AI
• Working experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
• Working knowledge in the AI and Analytics lifecycle, including problem definition, data preparation, model building, validation, deployment, and monitoring.

Additional skills (desirable)

• Experience in a client-facing role or technical consultancy.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Microsoft certifications related to AI, Azure, or Microsoft 365.
• Experience with other AI-driven development tools, such as GitHub Copilot.

• Technical expertise:

• Strong understanding of generative AI concepts, large language models (LLMs), and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages like Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI).
• Expertise in building and managing connectors and integrations using REST APIs.
• Experience with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Power BI,Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate).
