Job Details- EY- Strategy and Transaction - TRS EW-Manager Within SaT, TRS team services clients with a full range of hands-on, operationally focused support and advice across the transaction life cycle, across buyers and sellers. We cover a wide range of operational aspects, including divestiture advisory services, carve-out readiness and support, operational due diligence, synergy assessment and delivery, day-one readiness assessment, 100day planning, integration process support, carve-out/stand-alone costs assessment and risks, and cost reduction. Our professionals work on transactions and business development across the globe. Your key responsibilities You will be responsible for leading and delivering projects that bring data to life and new customer experiences through connected products. You\'ll have the opportunity to work with both physical products and digital applications to create the end-to-end solution. From understanding new market trends to identifying, designing, and executing new routes to market and new customer experiences, you\'ll have an opportunity to transform our Industrial Products customer processes and technologies forging the way to new revenue streams and growth platforms. We are currently seeking candidates with deep Agriculture sector expertise for TRS (VC) team who can be positioned at the crucial intersection of business, technology, and industry to devise creative new strategies based on trends, insights and data. We are looking for folks who have experience in advising clients. To qualify for the role, you must have 8+ years of experience in agriculture or allied sector or consulting to corporations and/or multilateral and/or government organizations in Agriculture Strong understanding of agricultural value chains, challenges faced by agri-enterprises globally, emerging business models, technology prospecting etc Strong business acumen and understanding of business issues across multiple focus sectors such as value chain evaluation, agri market linkages, ag tech, agri financing, policy advocacy and research, capital facilitation etc Project Management skills as they relate to managing engagements outcomes- high-quality deliverables are produced on a timely basis and within budget Strong client and relationship-building skills including the ability to engage senior client on firm\'s offerings as well as emerging issues across practice areas in the Agriculture sector, Lead project scope discussions, and provide insightful recommendations Good presentation skills and proficiency in MS Office- Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex information Being pro-active and able to work with a minimum level of supervision- Good To Have Post-graduate or graduate degree in agriculture, food, dairy, fisheries and related streams from a premier university in India/abroad 2-6 years of work experience in a front-end role at a consulting firm / developmental agency/ investment bank / investment promotion agency / global corporate working in agriculture and allied sectors Understanding of technology trends and prospects in sector would be an added advantage Key Responsibilities Demonstrate deep knowledge of industry to maintain credibility with prospective customers. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories. Support RFPs of customer proposals Engaging with Clients in understanding their requirements, scoping, discovering and defining solutions, explaining business benefits and use cases and a roadmap to meet their goals. Creating innovative solutioning that utilise EY extensive service offerings. Participation in meetings with internal/external stakeholders (Delivery managers, Account managers and client partners) and Vertical & Horizontal team Ability to engage senior client on firm\'s offerings as well as emerging issues across practice areas in the Agriculture sector, Lead project scope discussions, and provide insightful recommendations Skills and attributes for success Understanding of M&A life cycle, carve-out / integration of a business post-announcement of transaction, cross-border M&A. Possess financial analysis experience from a number of pre- and post-deal transactions, with the ability to link detailed operational analysis to P&L, cash flow and balance sheet. In-depth sector expertise in Agriculture and allied business value chains Ability to determine risks and opportunity areas Skill to synthesize approaches to work on complex problems Talent to adapt to new challenges and ideas Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation and interpersonal skills Strong written and verbal communication skills To qualify for the role, you must have A bachelor\'s degree or master\'s degree from a premier institute At least 5 years of experience in large digital transformation projects Deep knowledge and expertise in designing technology strategy Successful candidates must work in excess of standard hours when necessary. A valid passport is required willing and able to travel to meet client needs Ideally, you\'ll also have A master\'s degree in business focusing on operations / finance / marketing Experience innovating and executing on customer strategies, processes, technologies and change management activities and business models to improve commercial and top-line performance.
