Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

SAT Engineer

with a strong background in

Network Infrastructure Security

and hands-on experience using

Qualys VMDR (Vulnerability Management, Detection, and Response)

. This role will focus on managing vulnerability assessments, ensuring compliance, and supporting remediation efforts using the Qualys platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Deploy, configure, and manage Qualys VMDR to identify, assess, and track vulnerabilities across IT infrastructure. Conduct regular vulnerability scans and analyze results to provide risk-based recommendations. Work closely with system and network teams to assist with vulnerability remediation and patch management. Maintain Qualys asset groups, tagging strategies, and scan configurations. Generate custom reports for stakeholders and ensure compliance with internal security policies. Assist in the integration of Qualys with SIEM and other ITSM tools. Stay updated with emerging threats and ensure Qualys is aligned with current security standards and best practices. Support internal and external audits related to vulnerability management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Network Infrastructure and Vulnerability Management. Hands-on expertise in using Qualys VMDR, including Policy Compliance and Threat Protection modules. Good understanding of the Qualys architecture, scanners, agents, and cloud platforms. Familiarity with networking concepts, operating systems (Linux/Windows), and security controls. Experience interpreting vulnerability reports and translating them into actionable remediation plans. Strong knowledge of CVE, CVSS, and vulnerability scoring methodologies. Relevant certifications such as Qualys Certified Specialist, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
