Your key responsibilities

Responsibilities

Manage and execute application deployments across multiple environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production). Raise all respective ServiceNow tickets and own responsibility. Ensure all SDLC controls and compliance requirements are met before release. Coordinate with development, QA, and operations teams to plan and schedule releases. Own the end-to-end release process, including approvals, documentation, and risk assessments. Utilize Service Now and JIRA for change management, incident tracking, and release planning. Troubleshoot deployment issues and provide timely resolutions. Maintain release calendars and communicate release plans to stakeholders. Ensure rollback strategies and contingency plans are in place for critical deployments. Collaborate with teams to improve release automation and streamline processes. Provide post-release support and ensure smooth transition to production.

Your skills and experience

Must Have

Strong knowledge of SDLC processes and release management best practices. Hands-on experience with application deployment in enterprise environments. Familiarity with Java-based applications and UI technologies. Proficiency in ServiceNow and JIRA for release and change management. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven). Strong understanding of configuration management and version control (Git). Excellent communication and coordination skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Desirable

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with automation scripting (Shell, Python, or PowerShell). Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar). Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Understanding of ITIL processes and change management frameworks.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or relevant technology & science Technology certifications from any industry leading cloud providers
