Responsibilities Experience SAS VIYA Build and Support Role has the following Key Responsibilities: o The SAS Admin is expected to assist in preparing detail design document based on approved Infrastructure Architecture design for the SAS Viya Platform within CCS area. o Role will primarily focus on building various environments ranging from Development, SIT, UAT, Pre-Production Production. o The ideal candidate should have experience using multiple technologies like Ansible in the area of Application Provisioning, Configuration and Deployment of architectural components in various environments o Liaise directly with SAS Viya (Decision Manager) Lead and Architect to work based on approved Design and by following HClient Standards Guidelines o Actively Participate and resolve any environmental issues arises during the decision manager implementation life-cycle o Work closely with Business Analysts and Product vendor team to resolve any SAS Viya product related issues o Provide Environmental support during various stages of Testing, e.g. SIT, UAT, Pre-Production and Production o Prepare SAS Viya component status report on the state of nodes running in various environments o Strong experience of Monitoring and Administration of SAS suite of Decision Components in a multi-node environment o Experience with Performance tuning, Troubleshooting and automation of deployment related technical jobs o Experience of working in job scheduling using Control-M or other related technologies Basic Qualifications o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area and / or equivalent experience / training. o Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience using SAS VIYA and related Product suite o Minimum 2+ years hands-on experience on installation and configuration of SAS Viya product components o Experience with complex multi-platform troubleshooting in a multi-platform environment support o Experience with common SAS VIYA Applications like SAS Environment manager, ED, SAS Studio. o Ensures the overall health of the SAS platform. o Should have hands-on experience in SAS VIYA Installation. o Should have hand-on experience in Linux and shell scripting. o Applies maintenance releases, upgrades and hot fixes as required. o Should have experience in playbook creation and managing jobs through Ansible. o Establishes best practices and guidelines for usage of the SAS platform. o Excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills
