Able to Configure Standard IM/WM functionality Stock Transport Orders, Goods Movements, Goods Issues, Cycle Counting, Outbound & Inbound Delivery Process,, Pick/Pack & Ship, RF Processing and Bar-coding, and batch management.
Integration knowledge to cross modules like SD for outbound movements, PP/PP-PI for link to production, MRP planning etc. and FI/CO for integration of invoice verification with accounts payables, account determination etc.
Experience in Physical Inventory, Cycle Counting, Scrapping, Customer Returns, and Automatic Replenishment, MRP, etc.
Proficient in WM elements like placement and removal strategies, Inventory management, store master data management etc.
Good knowledge of Interface Framework should be in position to trouble shoot / provide solutions for interfaces using ALE/IDOC, RFC/tRFC, qRFC, EDI etc.
Provide support and quick solutions to the end users spread across multiple warehouses located globally.
Proficiency in creating functional specifications addressing user exits, enhancement points, reports, transactions, custom objects, interfaces, and conversions.
Assist in mapping the requirements into SAP Processes and design the solution.
Interact with support desk and end users to resolve incidents by developing workarounds, submitting defects and change requests.
Work with end-users, technical staff, and global resources to resolve incidences for regional and non-regional configurations.
Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of documentation to support change requests.
Manage tickets in Remedy and provide documentation for incident and problem reports.
Ability to comprehend, IT concepts pertaining to SAP and the interface to third party applications.
Provide high level of customer service by providing prompt support via telephone, email and or instant messaging.
Research problems and work with appropriate functional stream and application resources to resolve them.
Communicate to end-users and business partners to inform them of problems, solutions, application outages.
Work in a support role and integrate well with the Global Support Desk.
Provide on-call 24/7 coverage on a rotating basis with teammates (evenings, weekends and holidays).
