This exciting role offers opportunity to:

• Eaton is looking for a SAP System Analyst who will be part of the Operating & Enabling Value Chain Transformation Programs ensuring that products and services delivered by the project teams are of high quality and reliability, aligned to business outcomes.
• The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes and systems processes in order to deploy solutions using a fit to standard approach, using clean core technologies and agile SAP deployment model and processes.
• The candidate will ensure build, maintain and run an effective automated test suite for sprints/scrum, manage & track QA activities for projects on or before due date and within estimated efforts.
• Participates in implementation/enhancement projects for target system using PROLaunch / Scrum (Hybrid Methodology )
• Participates in the project delivery lifecycle - taking approved designs through to go-live.
• Effectively collaborate with scrum masters/project managers, system analysts, system engineers, architects, database engineers in an agile environment to develop quality assurance deliverables in line with sprints.
• Builds strong relationships with other IT professionals and with business users
• Helps gather requirements scope & disposition through process compliance and gap analysis
• Deliver functional specifications & configuration in line with the agreed and approved design
• Complete documentation and unit testing
• Provide integration testing support, and review of end-user training materials.
• Support project cut-overs, go-lives and warranty support
• Define and execute test strategies, test plans, estimate QA effort in line with defined methodologies for the product/platform/project.
• Create, review, approve traceability matrix, test data, test artifacts (test cases, automated test scripts etc.) for functional and nonfunctional user requirements to ensure that deliverables are of a high standard in terms of fit for purpose.
• Lead and align QA activities and tools to the methodology being deployed for the project to build effective automated tests etc. to enable continuous and efficient testing.
• Conduct test strategy / test case/test script reviews with cross-functional/scrums teams.
• Ensure appropriate test data is available.
• Coordinate test execution with QA, Project and Business Process resources, review defects, defect triaging , provide inputs on defects from functional perspective
• Define and enhance QA processes, KPIs, business outcomes associated with manual, automation, performance testing.
• Lead, develop, enhance and implement automation, performance test practices and frameworks, including the coding of scalable, reusable components and functions.
• Continuously leverage automation framework for creating reusable, seamlessly integrating and modular automated scripts for products/platform
• Define and own risk management plan from QA perspective
• Create and distribute status reports, test closure reports, 4-up / bi-weekly, monthly dashboards
• Ensure compliance to Eaton standard processes (Scrum Guide, Agile Values & Principles, DevOps, ITSM and tools) to bring consistency in deployment of QA processes thus promoting excellence in QA
• Train and mentor team members on manual, automation and performance test comments, domain and best practices
• Capture data for QA standard metrics, own Root Cause Analysis(RCA) and QA metrics trend.

Qualifications

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
• 9-13 Years
• Worked as Functional Analyst - Model, configure, and implement functional software and process solutions to meet desired business requirements. Analyze business processes and systems processes & recommend improvements that use standard Eaton software and processes. Participated in implementations and third level support as required .
• Excellent understanding and experience of implementing quality engineering practices via different methodologies such as SDLC, Scrum, Kanban etc.
• Able to adapt/customize QA processes based on the methodology or combination of methodologies being used by IT teams
• Strong understanding and experience of implementing testing techniques, test methodologies, QA metrics etc.
• Very good understanding and experience of test automation and performance testing concepts for projects/sprints, good understanding of performance engineering concepts and proficient in related Microfocus/DevOps tools set
• Strong experience in defining and executing test strategies, leading test design and test execution (both manual and automated)
• Strong experience in using test management using tools such as ALM, Jira/ Worksoft certify -Automation etc. to create effective progress, defect reports for management and product/platform/project teams in efficiently driving and recording test activities
• Good understanding of key business processes, priorities, domain
• Good technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, data base technology, communications hardware/software, standards and procedures and data security techniques etc.
