We are seeking an experienced
SAP Support Sub-Team Lead
to ensure the stability, performance, and continuity of a legacy SAP ERP environment during a critical transition to a modern digital platform. This role combines
people leadership
with
hands-on SAP expertise (~50%)
, supporting global business operations.
What You'll Do
Leadership & People Management
Lead, coach, and mentor a growing SAP support sub-team (initially 5 consultants)
Conduct regular 1:1s focused on performance, career development, and well-being
Build a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
Manage performance through goal setting, feedback, and evaluations
Team Operations & Delivery Management
Ensure timely and effective SAP support across multiple modules
Oversee workload balancing, task prioritization, and resource allocation
Coordinate daily support activities and track delivery progress
Support hiring and onboarding as the team expands
Enable cross-functional collaboration with global teams
Hands-On SAP Expertise (~50%)
Resolve incidents and troubleshoot complex SAP issues
Handle service requests and small change requests
Perform functional design, documentation, and enhancements
Support testing, validation, and deployment activities
Collaborate with business users and technical teams

What You Bring
Must-have:
Proven leadership experience in SAP support team management
Strong expertise in at least one SAP module: PM, QM, EWM, or Master Data
Experience handling complex incidents, integrations, and support scenarios
Solid background in SAP support operations and service delivery
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum
12 years of overall SAP experience
Nice-to-have:
SAP certifications in relevant modules
Knowledge of SAP integrations, architecture, and enhancement frameworks
Strong planning, analytical, and multitasking capabilities
Experience working with international and distributed teams
Education:
Bachelors or Masters Degree
Fluent in written and spoken English
