: SAP SAC Consultant - Senior Associate
JOB OVERVIEW
The successful applicant will be an SAP Analytics Cloud Consultant at Senior Associate level. They must have in-depth experience and knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) with exposure. As a SAC Consultant, you should have hands-on experience in report design, data modeling and Visualization using various below SAP analytics tools.
Year of Experience: 5-8 Years
End to end implementations: 3 to 5
Position Requirements
SAC
Involved in analyzing report requirements, conducting discussions with clients to address gaps, and reviewing functional specs.
Proficient in creating stories for both reports and dashboards, covering complex calculations, cross calculations, dynamic time calculations, etc.
Good experience in creating both Analytic and Planning models based on sources like S/4HANA, BW, HANA.
Good experience in creating stories for both reports and dashboards covering complex calculations, cross calculations, dynamic time calculations etc.
Good experience in advanced planning scenarios like writing advanced data action scripts, allocations, cross copy, formulas etc.
Good experience working with value driver trees, predictive forecasting, smart predict and smart insight.
Experience in integrating SAC with different sources like S/4HANA, BW, Odata services, HANA etc.
Experience in working with SAC Excel add in and Analysis Office.
Good exposure with SAC security setup, data locking, currency conversion, planning process.
Good exposure with developing analytical applications using scripts for tailored dashboards.
Familiarity with SAC APIs and usage of external APIs for integration with external systems and applications.
SAP Embedded Analytics
Complete knowledge and experience around SAP S4HANA Embedded Analytics Architecture
Execution of SQL Queries on CDS views, Reporting and Visualization
Strong experience in ABAP CDS View and publishing as a OData services.
Strong experience with Development Tool Kit using HANA studio or Eclipse
SAP HANA
Experience with designing and developing Native HANA solutions (HANA 1.0 and HANA 2.0 XSA) with deep expertise on Calculation Views, Attribute and Analytic Views, SQL script solutions and mixed modeling scenarios using BW on HANA
Understanding the Migration strategy from HANA studio to HANA Web IDE
Good hands-on experience in XS Advanced and HDI. Experience in HANA Cloud is desirable
Using SQL in Models - Functions PL/SQL Procedures, SQL Scripting
Proven expertise in optimization and troubleshooting performance of Calculation views and SQL queries using various performance tuning techniques
Working on GIT within the SAP Web IDE
Experience of replicating and loading data into SAP HANA from different data sources (e.g. SAP SLT, SAP Data Services, or SDI/SDA)
General Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of SAP SAC solution
Integrate SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) with other data sources or SAP modules to provide advanced analytics and visualization capabilities.
Ability to create Process Definition Document / Design Document (PDD) and Business Process Procedure (BPP) for the solutions provided.
Design and configure SAC dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to meet client reporting and analysis needs.
Develop data connections and models to enable real-time data analysis and forecasting in SAC.
Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs in SAC to support management reporting and decision-making.
Lead in all phases of SAP implementation projects, from planning and design to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Conduct user training sessions to educate clients on SAP SAC best practices, and system maintenance.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to client teams, including troubleshooting issues, addressing user inquiries, and optimizing reporting business processes.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and team members, to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Assist in pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of SAC implementation methodologies and tools.
Preferred Knowledge/skills
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in delivering SAP SAC solution using SAP Activate / Agile / Hybrid-Agile methodology
Know-how in design & blueprinting, configuration, functional Specification, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance test, authorization, data migration and cutover
Having the capability to work on milestone-based deliverables.
Experience with SAP modules integration with SAP Analytics Cloud.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
Professional and Educational Background
Senior Associate- 5-8 years exp.
5 years of experience in SAP SAC, with minimum 3 E2E implementations
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
Additional Information
SAP SAC certification is an added advantage.
