What's this role about?
We are seeking a SAP S/4HANA Cloud Group Reporting Consultant with 6-8 years of hands on experience to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Group Consolidations across SAP and non-SAP entities. The ideal candidate will be an expert in analyzing existing implementations and recommending enhancements to better leverage Group Reporting functionality, with a strong focus on Eliminations, Allocations, and Currency Translations to deliver accurate and timely consolidated financial statements. This role will also support both external statutory reporting and internal management reporting requirements, ensuring compliance, transparency, and efficiency in group reporting processes.
Experience in SAP Business Process Design & Implement as well as Support areas including SLAs management Cause Analysis.
Contribute to competency and Coordinate with technical team on custom objects Interacting with customers understanding the requirements proposing solutions, methodology etc.
Here's how you'll contribute:
As SAP S4HANA Cloud Group Reporting Consultant at Zensar you will take end-to-end ownership of FICO deliverable on projects and provide valuable expertise. Well acquainted with SAP Methodology and experienced in all stages of project implementation.
Managing and owning all aspects of FICO deliverables
You will lead / guide a team of SAP consultants
Understanding requirements and writing Functional Specification documents
Should be an individual Contributor and played client facing lead role
Estimation of efforts, identifying risks, and providing technical support whenever needed
Demonstrating the ability to multitask and re-prioritizing responsibilities based on dynamic requirements
Leading and mentoring small-sized teams
SAP Skills required to contribute:
FI - Core (GL/New GL/AR/AP). Understanding of Organization Structure, Chart of Accounts, Account Determination, Period End and Year End Close along with Automatic Payments, EBS, Lockbox, DME and Banking)
CO - Core (Cost Center, Internal Order, Settlements)
Review current Group Reporting implementation and suggest enhancements to optimize functionality and reporting outcomes.
Configure and manage Group Reporting in S/4HANA Cloud, including:
Intercompany Eliminations
Allocations (top-side, cost, and profit center allocations)
Currency Translations for multi-currency entities
Design and implement consolidation processes to integrate data from both SAP and non-SAP systems.
Define and optimize consolidation rules, hierarchy structures, and reporting dimensions.
Ensure compliance with statutory, IFRS, and local GAAP reporting standards.
Proven ability to integrate non-SAP entities into S/4HANA Group Reporting.
Knowledge of management reporting design (profitability analysis, KPIs, dashboards).
Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver management reporting that supports decision-making.
Support financial close processes with automation and accuracy.
Excellent understanding of financial close, consolidation cycles, and compliance requirements.
Provide expert guidance, best practices, and user training on Group Reporting functionality.
Strong communication skills with ability to work across Finance, IT, and Business stakeholders.
Familiarity with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration for advanced reporting (preferred).
Well versed with Agile project implementation methodology.
Experience in working with various tools for issue recording and tracking; Change request management, Testing tools, 3rd party systems integration etc.
Experience in working on Global Delivery projects for International Clients preferred.
Good understanding on applications like Concur, Salesforce, Workday and Replicon.
Preference will be given to SAP Certified Solution Consultants
Domain experience in Finance and Accounting will be an added advantage
Domain business knowledge/understanding of Accounting / Costing - beyond technical implementation experience.
