Role description

1.Developing and Executing Test Plans: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure that all aspects of the product are thoroughly tested.




2.Automation: Designing, developing, and executing automated scripts using various tools and frameworks to increase the efficiency and coverage of tests.




3.Manual Testing: Conduct manual tests when automation is not feasible, focusing on exploratory testing to identify bugs that automated tests might miss.




4.Bug Identification and Reporting: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs or issues. Work with the development team to ensure issues are resolved and perform regression testing to confirm fixes.




5.Compliance with Standards: Ensure that the products comply with company standards, industry regulations, and best practices.




6.Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design specifications.




7.Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance quality and productivity.




8.Risk Assessment: Analyze and prioritize risks to determine the most critical areas to focus QA efforts on.




9.Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the test plans, test cases, bug reports, and any other relevant information to ensure transparency and traceability.

Skills

Experienced QA Test Lead in Financial Services - IT Industry especially in Oracle and SAP financial modules.*




5+ Years of strong experience in manual and automation testing with Tosca/Selenium and API Automation.*




Functional testing knowledge related to Middleware testing.*




Preparing RTM/HLE for applications for Settlement applications.*




Understanding BRD and HLE and design RTM for application around fraud and settlement.*



Testing Experience with good understanding of Software Test Lifecycle.*




Good experience in Manual testing of SAP, Mobile and Web applications.*




Knowledge of API testing using Postman, SOAP UI, Ready API.*




Knowledge of Agile methodology*




Raise any defects found during test automation and escalate in accordance with set procedures to ensure resolution of issues within appropriate timeframes to minimize impact on project quality and schedule Provide regular updates on progress of allocated Test scripts and Test scenarios automation to ensure Testing deadlines are met.*




Good communication skills.*
