The client is implementing S/4 Hana to replace the old SAP ECC solutions over the next 5 years.
We are seeking a skilled SAP S/4 PP Functional Designer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's S/4HANA journey through requirements gathering, design, test, data migration, cutover & hyper care.
As a PP Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing SAP best practice and standard and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
We believe you should have the following qualifications:

• Proven track record of full-cycle SAP implementations, upgrades or rollouts, as a core team PP designer or similar role, with deep knowledge in systems integrations across SAP modules like PS, MM, SD, FICO and external MES systems
• Extensive experience in implementing MTS, MTO and ETO business scenarios, covering both Plant and Product dimensions.
• Proven ability to map complex manufacturing workflows in PP configuration setup and development including interfaces to other system platforms.
• Ability to innovate and transform complex business challenges into scalable SAP S/4 PP solutions that enhance efficiency and improve system supportability, while maintaining a clean core SAP environment
• Solid knowledge of key master data supporting manufacturing operations, such as BOM, operations and variant configurations
• Practical experience in international multi-tier landscapes involving project sales through selling, trading and producing companies; familiarity with SAP Advanced Intercompany Sales functionality is preferred
• Ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams and external consultants to deliver successful projects
• Solid understanding of supporting software in data migration, testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead collaboration with business stakeholders to identify, analyse and document functional requirements for manufacturing processes involving Project Systems (PS), including end-to-end integrations with external systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• Collaborate with cross-functional process teams to assess potential system impacts and ensure seamless end-to-end integration for intercompany trade flows involving 2 or 3 legal entities
• Develop functional specifications with detailed process flows and to-be solution designs in SAP S/4, aligning where possible with SAP best practices and standard functionality
• Collaborate with technical and infrastructure teams and external system integrators to design, build, test and implement the solution
• Develop test scripts for SIT and UAT, ensuring coverage of all functional and integration requirements
• Coordinate and execute testing activities, document results, track defects and work with relevant teams for timely resolution
• Prepare and validate data migration, support cutover planning and execution and provide post go-live hypercare support
• Ensure to meet and deliver as per Project Phase and Timelines, adhering to project governance standards and prescribed system tools

Tasks will be assigned during the contract period. The list is not exhaustive & the client will assign tasks as and when required.
Contract Period : ASAP (12mths)
Work Allocation : est 160hrs/mth (100%)
Work Location : Onsite, Chakan - 1st preference OR Remote, Pune / Mumbai
