SAP PP Consultant -

Experience:

7-10 Years

1. Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced

SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant

with around

7 years of hands-on functional experience

in

ECC or S/4HANA

. The consultant will be responsible for

requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and production support

across

discrete and process manufacturing environments

.

Handle end-to-end

: planning ? execution ? confirmation ? settlement Create and maintain

Planning Strategies

(Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, ETO, etc.) Configure

Production Versions, Batch Management, and Serial Numbering

Set up and troubleshoot: Order types Scheduling parameters Backflushing Automatic goods movements Availability checks
Integration Responsibilities

Strong integration knowledge with:

MM

(Material Master, Procurement, Split Valuation)

SD

(ATP, Delivery Relevance)

QM

(Inspection Lots, In-Process Quality)

FI/CO

(Order Settlement, Cost Collectors)

PM

(Maintenance BOMs)
Project Responsibilities

Lead

Blueprinting, Fit-Gap Analysis, and Design Workshops

Prepare

Functional Specifications

for RICEFW objects Work closely with

ABAP teams

on enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and custom reports Execute

Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, Cutover, and Go-Live

activities Provide

hypercare and production support

Prepare

SOPs, configuration documents, and training materials

3. Mandatory Skills & Experience

7+ years of

hands-on SAP PP configuration experience

Minimum

one end-to-end implementation

and multiple support projects Strong knowledge of

MRP, BOM management, Routing/Recipe configuration

Experience in

Long-Term Planning (LTP), Capacity Planning, and Backflush

Exposure to

S/4HANA PP, MRP Live, and Fiori apps

Ability to resolve

production order, confirmation, and costing issues

Strong

analytical and problem-solving skills

4. Good to Have (Preferred)

Knowledge of

PP-PI (Process Industries)

Experience in

APO / IBP

demand or supply planning Knowledge of

MES integration

Understanding of

EWM integration

(staging, production supply) Basic hands-on experience with

QM and PM

Experience with

Master Data Governance (MDG)

5. Soft Skills

Excellent

communication and client-facing skills

Ability to

drive workshops independently

Strong

documentation and presentation skills

Ability to work

cross-functionally

6. Education & Certification

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering, Technology, or MBA

SAP PP Certification

Pay: ₹430,962.61 - ₹1,688,860.10 per year
