Position Title: Senior Consultant SAP PP / VIS

Department: IT

Location: Pune

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning (PP) Sr.Consultant/Architect to lead the design, optimization, and governance across Supply chain and Operations. The role requires deep functional expertise, strong architectural skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP PP solutions along with strong manufacturing domain experience (VIS).


The candidate must have experience working with a global team as Kohler Co has plants in China, Thailand, India, North America, Brazil, EMEA and the UK. The candidate must be willing to manage and deliver a varied portfolio of tasks from simple configuration maintenance and end user support through to new process design. Compliance with Kohler best practices for project management is required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define end-to-end SAP PP architecture. Design integrated demand planning, scheduling and execution functions for discrete manufacturing and repetitive environments solutions aligned with business processes and enterprise architecture standards. Architect, design and build software solutions through development and/or configuration. Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and standards documents. Write and execute scripts to control the execution of systems. Provide analysis, counsel, and direction to management and personnel of operating units to analyze problems and develop solutions, as well as ensure efficient operation of existing systems and programs. Maintain an understanding of business processes and the implications of computer systems on these processes. Provide inputs for incident solution review meetings, including general design review, incident scheduling, test plan, system and program tactics and methods, system controls, procedures, documentation, and the fix or change implementation plan. Design detailed system and program specifications. Develop system documentation and user procedures. Prepare test data. Coordinate/perform system and program testing. Coordinate/perform system and program implementation and modification. Research systems and programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test, and implement detailed solutions. Collaborate with the TcU / Model Based Manufacturing Teams to ensure theory is defined, functionality is fully vetted, integration is executed and information and processes are validated Translate business requirements into IS/IT specifications, ensures completeness of system requirements and validates IS/IT architecture against requirements Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Manager/ Global Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP PP (Must Have)

Worked on at least 2 end-to-end implementations of PP-REM/Discrete module project & 2 roll-out project along with support (Must Have)

Expertise in configuration of order types & entire Plan to Produce cycle for discrete manufacturing (Must Have)

Working knowledge or exposure to the SAP APO/SCM Advanced Planning modules (Must Have)

In depth knowledge of end-to-end manufacturing process (Must Have)

Hands-on experience on Planning strategies- MTS/MTO, MRP- Regenerative planning, Scheduling of orders- forward/backward, Concept & basics for Material Requirement planning. (Must Have)

Hands-on experience on Master Data Maintenance (Material Master- MRP views, MRP group, BOM's, Routing, Work center & Production versions) (Must Have)

Worked on managing Run schedule quantity, Batch Management & customize scheduling (Preferred)

Certified in SAP Production Planning & shop floor control module. (Preferred)
