We are recruiting for the following requirement.

Technical Competencies:

• Must have around 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM module with at least 2 to 3 end to end implementation or Support projects
• Preferred SAP SRM Experience.
• Must have deep understanding of procurement best practices, very good functional and

configuration experience in following areas of SAP MM & SAP SRM
o Material Master, Business Partner, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Outline
Agreements, Release strategies, Pricing, Intercompany Billing, Special Procurement, output
determination for messages, Reports.
o Inventory Management (Goods Movement, Physical Inventory count & Cycle counts, ABC
analysis) Valuation and split valuation and Account Determination. Logistics Invoice
Verification, Credit Memos, Account Payables, Classification.
o Must have very good hands-on experience in handling SAP MM interfaces with other
applications through middleware.

• Understand end to end procurement cycle (PR \xe2\x86\x92 PO \xe2\x86\x92 GR & IV \xe2\x86\x92 Payments), assimilate interface

flows (inbound and outbound) from SAP to other applications and viceversa, prerequisites and
dependencies of data and data flows, monitoring of inbound and outbound interfaces, identification
and analysis of errors, troubleshooting of issues and their resolution

Functional scope:

• Role expects constant liaison with business users and the consultant is expected to have very good

Communication skills (written and verbal)

• Very good analytical and problem solving skills; should be able to analyze the issues for root-cause

and propose workarounds and permanent fixes

• Should develop details analysis on root-cause analysis, probable technical solutions (workarounds

and permanent fixes), change impact analysis, request for change / functional specification
documents, detailed test plans, test execution / validation of the solution and release management

• Should own the issue or task and engage relevant stakeholders and take accountability to drive the

issue to closure

• The activity concerns the BUILD activities (evolutions, projects) on indirect material purchases

including SAP MM- SRM applications (e-consultation, e-catalogue, spot-buy, blanket order), SAP
ECC applications (investments and tools managements) and other technologies like JAVA.
Topics to cover concern evolutions of the current system, integration of new scope (new companies or new
countries), software integration or upgrade.
Main activities:
- Ensuring (in liaison with the IT teams) the monitoring, the coordination, the realization of the functional
and technical specification, testing and receipt of the deliverables:
o Monitoring and control of the project progression
o Activity coordination between business, development team, technical consultants, suppliers and
partners.
o General specification based on the business needs and transfer to the development team.
o Technical conception and validation with technical consultants, architects and suppliers.
o Deliverables testing and receipt

o Integration test preparation (datasets) and execution
o System settings
o Business tests support
o Data migration preparation (data extraction, file creation, ...) and testing
o Industrialization dossier and treatment description
o Production launch preparation
o Ramp-up management
o Report on the project progress, manage alerts and crisis
- Study of new IT solutions to improve the functional domain
o Realization of the technical and functional dossier
o Effort and cost estimation
o Organise validation committees
Skills expected:
- Autonomy to manage actions and activities, find the good support team, ...
- Project management, synchronization with other teams involved in the activity
- Technical knowledge\xe2\x80\x99s (technical architecture, IT security ...) to be able to propose and understand
technical solutions (SAP knowledge), write specifications.
- System settings (mainly SAP)
- Technical background to be able to check setting, tables in SAP, idocs, workflow, release strategies, ...
in SAP, extract and manage data from SAP or other technologies (like SQL), to compare data and prepare
files (with Microsoft Excel or Access) for analysis or data migration.
- Fluency in English
