We are looking for a Functional MDG consultant to join a newly formed (in-house) SAP MDG Delivery Team.xe2x80x8bxefxbbxbfxe2x80x8bOrganisational/Programme Background:xe2x80x8bxe2x80x8bMaersk is currently in the early phase of a multi-year, global transformation programme, set to harmonize/centralise its various legacy and SAP ECC platforms onto a core SAP S/4 landscape. xe2x80x8bLed by the New Finance & Tax Platform, this objective is set to maximise the standardisation of all global end-to-end processes, namely, PTP, OTC, RTR, within a global template strategy. xe2x80x8bAs part of the Data Management function, the MDG sub-function has recently implemented the MDG- BP, Customer/Vendor, Material and Finance data models as well additional custom data models. An MDG roadmap is under-development to further extend existing functionality to new Maersk regions and countries as well as meet demand for enhancements and new functionality. xe2x80x8b

xe2x80x8bKey Responsibilities:xe2x80x8bxe2x80x8b

• Leading the delivery of SAP MDG implementation activities in a functional hands-on role across a multi-year, multi-release programmexe2x80x8b.
• Provide hands on MDG expertise, specifically around MDG functional configuration where required, FS development, through to business sign off and handover for TS development.xe2x80x8b
• Responsible for driving the design decisions, functional unit testing and coordinating between the testing teams and the business users during business testing.xe2x80x8b
• Actively collaborate with other product owners and engineering teams to understand their needs and coordinate integration of MDG with their productsxe2x80x8b
• Independently manage the backlog and specific user stories assigned as per the product owner prioritization based on business needs, creation of backlog items and mapping out dependencies in collaboration with users and customersxe2x80x8b
• Work closely with development teams in Agile way of working; contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint and work with the team to refine and improve the development process xe2x80x8b
• Ensure governance is followed in change deploymentxe2x80x8b
• Close working collaboration with the respective MDG Scrum Masters, engineering leads and MDG teams to ensure end-to-end delivery

Who we are looking for:xe2x80x8bxe2x80x8b

• Experience working as SAP MDG engineer/functional consultant for a minimum of 3+ years, with overall experience of 5+ years with large scale SAP transformation initiativesxe2x80x8b
• Hands-on implementation experience of SAP MDG incl. deep knowledge in SAP MDG configuration (MDG-IMG nodes) with knowledge of architectures and business processesxe2x80x8b
• Experience in working with senior business product owners/global process owners on MDG workflow designs, to create and extend objects such as business partner, contract account and materialxe2x80x8b
• Expert experience of S/4HANA is a must, with in-depth knowledge of Business Partner and Material Master Data Modelsxe2x80x8b
• Experience/familiarity of integration technologies and methods for integrating MDG with SAP and non-SAP applications, such as SAP-PO/CPI, Kafka Event Streaming and REST APIxe2x80x8b
• Proven experience with managing complex stakeholders and ability to influence without authorityxe2x80x8b
• Experience in working with Agile, Scrum and waterfall delivery models, specifically using Jira for user story delivery, from initial backlog, through to story refinement and FS developmentxe2x80x8b
• Good problem solving & communication skills with a collaborative mindset across business functionsxe2x80x8b
• An Agile mindset & open to change & ability to work in ambiguous environmentxe2x80x8b
• Very strong communication and collaboration skills;xe2x80x8b

• Data Model extensions & standard, specifically for MDG-BP/C/S, MDG-M, MDG-Fxe2x80x8b

• Governance Process Modelling.xe2x80x8b

• Process modelling BRF+ WF and related BAdI implementations.xe2x80x8b

• UI modelling changes/ enhancements.xe2x80x8b

• DRF set up and monitoring Replication setup and enhancement using IDoc .xe2x80x8b

• Replication setup and enhancement using Proxy.xe2x80x8b

• Any other proxy/ web service integration experience.xe2x80x8b

• Inbound integration into MDG system.xe2x80x8b

• Search and duplicate check enhancements.xe2x80x8b

• Derivations and Validations (BRF and BAdi based)xe2x80x8b

• Consolidation and mass processing.
