SAP Integration Suite Developer
The SAP Integration & Technology (SIT) team is part of the SAP TechOps Digital Service and
guarantees the smooth operation of the middleware and the SAP Business Technology Platform.
The SAP Integration Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining integration
scenarios between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite. The role involves
ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable API-based integration across cloud and on-premise
environments, aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, and maintain CPI integration flows using the iFlow designer according to the given design by our implementation architects.
Develop integration scenarios for SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Ariba, Or third-party systems.
Design and manage APIs using SAP API Management.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, SAML, client certificates).
Handle transformation using message mapping and Groovy scripting.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration flows and APIs to ensure performance and reliability.
Document technical designs, integration patterns, and error-handling approaches.
Ensure security compliance and follow SAP and enterprise integration best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite.
Solid understanding of SAP Integration Suite components (CPI, API Management).
Strong proficiency in Groovy scripting, message mapping, and data transformations.
Experience with REST, OData and SOAP.
Understanding of enterprise authentication and networking concepts (HTTPS, TLS).
Practical knowledge of SAP BTP architecture and extensions.
Fluent English communication skills; German is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Integration Suite.
Experience with SAP Event Mesh or event-driven integration patterns).
(Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (Azure, AWS, or GCP)).
