A great contract opportunity has become available within an international pharmaceutical company so will suit someone available immediately or ready to start within a short notice. This will be initially a 12+ months fixed contract potentially with extension. Responsibilities:

  • Support the project management team in independently gathering business requirements, business processes, which include financial analyses needed to manage the SAP Hana implementation
  • Understand S4 capabilities to maximise the automation and integration within the ERP and identify where bolt ons are required to ensure best in-class execution
  • Provide functional guidance on finance topics and processes for improvement/implementation contributing to roll-out timelines and phasing to meet Consumer business needs
  • Lead implementation of scope areas: A2R,I2C,O2C,FA, costing, treasury, finance data, AP and intercompany
  • Liaison with IT, Data Governance and Integrity Teams in identifying and implementing functional specifications and gaps within SAP to be amended
  • Support process optimization and discuss potential solutions with management
  • Be able to understand and review monthly closing and provide reports
  • Presents monthly financial reports and related analyses. Completes financial planning process.
  • Support the data hub design, integration, maintenance of data integrity (6 warehouses will be collapsed into
Requirements:
  • BA in Finance/Accounting or equivalent related experience. MBA and/or CMA preferred.
  • 5+ years in progressive financial accounting and analysis
  • Experience in SAP implementation ( understanding SAP processes)
  • Experience in a company with manufacturing environment or similar (not just banking or stock market)
  • Background in finance and understanding of financial processes, analysis and experience with financial closure ( understanding of potential issues for reconciliations, and understanding of issues that might arise with SAP processes)
  • Expertise in one of the following areas A2R,I2C,FA,Costing, Indirect Tax (Sales & Input tax) & Withholding Tax, Finance Data, AP(Direct and indirect),Treasury
  • 70% process knowledge, 30% tech SAP knowledge
