We are looking for a SAP IBP Demand, S&OP, and Supply AMS (Application Management Services) role typically involves supporting and maintaining SAP Integrated Business Planning solutions for demand planning, sales & operations planning (S&OP), and supply planning. This includes tasks like troubleshooting issues, implementing minor enhancements, and ensuring the system runs smoothly to meet business needs. Key
Responsibilities:
Incident Management:
Addressing and resolving issues reported by users, often through ticket resolution and root cause analysis.
Problem Management:
Identifying and resolving recurring issues, implementing preventative measures, and contributing to knowledge base articles.
Minor Enhancements:
Implementing small-scale changes to the system to address specific business requirements or improve functionality.
Configuration and Maintenance:
Maintaining and updating planning areas, key figures, attributes, and planning operators within the SAP IBP system.
Integration Support:
Ensuring seamless data flow between SAP IBP and other systems like SAP ECC/S/4HANA, potentially using tools like CPI-DS or RTI.
Performance Monitoring:
Tracking system performance, identifying potential bottlenecks, and ensuring optimal system operation.
Documentation:
Creating and maintaining documentation, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs) and knowledge base articles, to support users and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Collaboration:
Working closely with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective support and continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience:
SAP IBP Expertise:
Strong understanding of SAP IBP modules, including Demand Planning, S&OP, and Supply Planning.
Hands-on Experience:
Experience with configuring and maintaining SAP IBP, including planning areas, key figures, and planning operators.
Integration Knowledge:
Familiarity with integrating SAP IBP with other systems, particularly SAP ECC/S/4HANA, using tools like CPI-DS or RTI.
AMS Experience:
Prior experience in supporting SAP IBP systems in a production environment, including incident and problem management.
