POSITION DESCRIPTION KOHLER CO.

Position Title: SAP IBP Architect

Department: IT

Location: Pune

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced SAP IBP Sr. Consultant/Architect to lead the design, optimization, and governance of Production Planning competency solutions across Supply Chain and Operations. The ideal candidate requires strong technical competencies in SAP Advanced Planning (APO) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), along with complimenting knowledge in Production Planning (PP) and Business intelligence (BI) along with fundamental S&OP, supply & demand planning, scheduling and execution functions of SAP IBP for repetitive environments in a make-to-order or make-to-stock environment.


The candidate must have experience working with a global team as Kohler Co has plants in China, Thailand, India, North America, Brazil, EMEA and the UK. The candidate must be willing to manage and deliver a varied portfolio of tasks from simple configuration maintenance and end user support through to new process design. Compliance with Kohler best practices for project management is required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define end-to-end SAP IBP architecture covering PP module.

Design demand planning, supply planning solutions aligned with business processes and enterprise architecture standards.

Architect, design and build software solutions through development and/or configuration. Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and standards documents. Write and execute scripts to control the execution of systems.

Provide analysis, counsel, and direction to management and personnel of operating units to analyze problems and develop solutions, as well as ensure efficient operation of existing systems and programs. Maintain an understanding of business processes and the implications of computer systems on these processes.

Provide inputs for incident solution review meetings, including general design review, incident scheduling, test plan, system and program tactics and methods, system controls, procedures, documentation, and the fix or change implementation plan.

Design detailed system and program specifications. Develop system documentation and user procedures. Prepare test data. Coordinate/perform system and program testing. Coordinate/perform system and program implementation and modification. Research systems and programs to determine causes of failure or poor operational performance; then define, test, and implement detailed solutions.

Collaborate with the TcU / Model Based Manufacturing Teams to ensure theory is defined, functionality is fully vetted, integration is executed and information and processes are validated

Translate business requirements into IS/IT specifications, ensures completeness of system requirements and validates IS/IT architecture against requirements

Perform other related duties as assigned by the Team Manager/ Global Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP IBP (Must Have)

Worked on at least 2 end-to-end implementation project & 2 roll-out project along with support. (Must Have)

In depth management consulting experience on supply chain planning S&OP, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Detail Scheduling, Inventory Optimization. (Must Have)

Experience in SAP APO integration (Must Have)

Exposure and experience with SAP Enterprise Inventory and Service-Level Optimization (EIS) is a plus (SmartOps) (Must Have)




Should have hands on SAP PP configuration experience (Preferred to Have)

SAP IBP certification is good to have (Preferred to Have)
