The role is of a SAP HCM ABAP Developer who will analyse and propose technical solutions and develop technical requirements based on business needs. Work closely with Technical Team and Functional Consultants and take initiatives on upscaling technical excellence for the solutions. Provide and document effort estimation, feasibility study, unit testing and technical review.

• You come in with deep exposure to SAP HCM Payroll product architecture and take over responsibility for the entire lifecycle of applications and services for the design, testing, implementation, maintenance, operations, and support

• Ability to quickly understand customers business requirements and to generate, promote new and creative ideas.

• You work as an expert developer / architect in an agile development team according to Scrum methodology and provide directions in terms of architectural decisions

• You drive improvements and innovations in development processes, methodologies, architectures, and technology by collaborating with designers and domain experts.

• You support and advice the team & management regarding technical and architectural feasibility, implications, readiness, and compliance.

• You develop the technical and development skills of team colleagues, coach and advise young talents, developers, and other experts.

• You must have special focus on Usability, performance, scalability, and extensibility

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

• 5 - 8 years of SAP technical development experience in HR ABAP

• Must have expertise and hands-on experience on latest SAP technical development objects & technologies

• Must have working knowledge on SAP Payroll design & architecture

• Must have worked on US/Canada or any other country SAP payroll products

• Must be have worked on 3rd Party Integrations scenarios with SAP Payroll

• Working knowledge of HANA would be a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good logical and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Hands on development skills to prototype technical solutions

• Ability to adapt to change quickly, willingness to learn new and emerging technologies

• Awareness of Agile (Scrum) methodologies
