Job Title: SAP Fund Management/Grants Management Consultant
Location: Kakkanad, Kochi
We are seeking an experienced Senior
SAP Funds Management (FM)
and
Grants Management (GM)
Consultant to join our SAP functional team. The ideal candidate will have
8-15
years of hands-on SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP Public Sector Management (PSM), specializing in Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM) modules.
The consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP FM and GM solutions to meet business and regulatory requirements, particularly within public sector or non-profit organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end
SAP FM/GM implementations
and rollouts across multiple projects.
Configure Funds Management
processes including budgeting, commitment/actuals, fund centres, and fund types.
Design and implement Grants Management processes including
grant lifecycle management, budgeting, billing, and reporting.
Integrate FM/GM with other
SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, PS, and HR
.
Work closely with finance and grants departments to understand functional requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Manage
data migration, testing, documentation, and end-user training.
Provide post-implementation support and enhancements to improve process efficiency.
Ensure compliance with organizational and donor reporting requirements.
Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom developments and enhancements.
Participate in system upgrades and
S/4HANA conversion
activities involving FM/GM components.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
8-15 years of experience as an
SAP Functional Consultant
, with at least 5+ years in
SAP FM/GM.
Proven track record in
full lifecycle implementations of SAP Funds and Grants Management modules.
Strong understanding of public sector accounting, fund-based budgeting, and grant lifecycle processes.
Experience integrating SAP FM/GM with SAP FI, CO, MM, PS, and HR.
Hands-on experience in
SAP ECC and S/4HANA
(Public Sector) environments.
Excellent understanding of derivation rules, budget control system (BCS), and grant billing/revenue recognition.
Ability to write functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
SAP Certification in Public Sector Management / Funds Management / Grants Management.
Experience in S/4HANA Public Sector implementation or migration projects.
Exposure to SAP Solution Manager and SAP Fiori Apps for FM/GM.
Experience with international donor-funded projects (e.g., UN, NGOs, government agencies).
