Job Title:

SAP FICO Consultant / SAP Controlling Consultant

Location:

Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days' work from office mandatory)

Experience Required:

5-8 Years

We are seeking experienced

SAP FICO and SAP Controlling Consultants

to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidates will have strong configuration skills, end-to-end process knowledge, and the ability to work independently at an L3 consultant level. You will be responsible for managing and configuring SAP FI/CO modules, collaborating with business users, and delivering efficient solutions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Independently handle SAP FI/CO configurations and provide expert-level solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements Deliver SAP solutions across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Controlling modules Perform end-to-end process analysis including understanding of accounting entries at each stage Support month-end and year-end closing activities Ensure integration with modules like MM, SD, and PP Handle reporting, financial statements, and compliance-related configurations Own deliverables and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision

Required Skills

For

SAP FI Consultant

:

Strong configuration knowledge in

GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Bank, EBS

Experience in

Order to Cash (OTC)

and

Procure to Pay (P2P)

processes Working knowledge of

Intercompany processes

and

tax configurations

(VAT, Sales and Use Tax) Familiarity with

Cost Center Accounting

and

Profit Center Accounting

is a plus
For

SAP CO Consultant

:

Expertise in

Product Costing, COPA, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting

Good integration experience with

Production Planning (PP)

and other SAP modules Strong understanding of

costing methods

, profitability analysis, and cost allocation

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Finance, or Accounting 5-8 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO configuration experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Commitment to working 2-3 days per week from the Chennai office (Hybrid model)
