SAP FICO Consultant (Implementation Head role)

Job location is based out of Gurugram/Grugaon (Delhi NCR)

Role Overview:

Company is looking for an experienced SAP FICO Functional Consultant with a strong background in SAP Finance and Controlling modules. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of SAP FICO functionalities, business processes, and best practices. They will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, and implementing SAP solutions, and providing ongoing support to ensure efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to finance, accounting, and controlling processes.

- Design, configure, and implement SAP FICO solutions based on business needs and industry best practices.

- Provide expertise in SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.

- Lead and participate in SAP FICO project implementations, enhancements, and upgrades, ensuring successful delivery within specified timelines and budget.

- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities to educate end-users on SAP functionalities and optimize system utilization.

- Perform system testing, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP FICO modules.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business units, to align SAP solutions with organizational goals and strategies.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP FICO trends, updates, and innovations to recommend and implement continuous improvements.

Qualifications:

- CA/ICWAM/Com/BCom or any related degree in finance field.

- 8-10 years of hands-on experience working as an SAP FICO Functional Consultant and Business Finance Area.

- Extensive expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling modules with a deep understanding of integration points with other SAP cross functional modules.

- Proven experience in full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

- Exposure in the Fashion/ Footwear industry is preferred.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

- SAP certification in FICO or related modules would be preferred.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
