Essential Job Functions

• Support production configuration and assist in functional change requests
• Support business implementations by sharing best practice development skills
• Assist initial testing of problem fixes, code review, change requests, enhancements, and new functionality
• Work with SAP Functional experts to facilitate incident and problem resolution
• Independently analyze Business Requirement Documents and map business requirements to SAP
• Extensive experience working on Incidents, Break Fixes, and Problem tickets in FI/CO
• Guide the technical team with RICEF specification
• Involved in solution design discussions and provide cross-functional knowledge to ensure the developed solutions meet quality standards

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of SAP FI/CO experience including data modeling, extractions, data staging, loadings, transformations, transportation, and reporting
• SAP FI/CO consultant with core Financial Accounting and Controlling & RICEF development experience
• Hands-on experience in FI/CO functional and configuration
• GAP resolution via SDLC for RICEF objects
• Expertise in sub-modules: General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling
• Strong in Month-End and Year-End closing activities
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience in Controlling and postings in CO-PA
• Hands-on experience in cross-module integration with MM, WM, SD, and PP
• Financial Accounting and Controlling
• Implementation of SAP add-on technologies
• General Ledger: GL Master Data, Foreign Currency Valuation, FSVs
• Accounts Payable: Vendor Master Data, Automatic Payment Program, Advance Payments, Reports
• Banking: House Banks, Manual Bank Statements, Electronic Bank Statements, Lockbox, ACH & WIRE Payments, Cleared Checks
• Accounts Receivable: Customer Master Data, Advance Payments, Dunning, Lockbox, Reports
• Asset Accounting: Asset Procurement, Sale, Retirement, Scrap, Shootdown, Revaluation, Year-End Activities
• New General Ledger Accounting
• Strong knowledge of cross-functional modules: CO, MM, SD, PP, PS
• Enhancements and user exits in functional areas of expertise
• Cost Element Accounting: Creation of CE, Cost Element Planning
• Cost Center Accounting: Planning, Assessment and Distribution, Reporting
• Internal Orders: Types, Planning, Settlement
• Product Costing: Basic Settings, Standard Costing, Settlements, Product Cost by Order, Period, and Sales Order Costing
• Material Ledger (ML): Postings, Closings, Material Valuation
• COPA: Data Structure, Profitability Segment, Data Flow, COPA Assessment, Re-alignment, Reports
• Good written and oral communication skills; ability to interact with multinational clients and teams
• Ability to explain complex technical constructs to business and non-technical users
• Strong problem-solving techniques; ability to convert business requirements to technical solutions
